Taking PLENVU

PLENVU: A successful colonoscopy starts with Little PEG

A good colonoscopy starts with a cleaned-out colon.

PLENVU was designed to help you have a successful colon cleanse. With PLENVU, there is less medicine to drink than with other bowel preps.

Also, twice as many people found the taste of PLENVU “very acceptable” compared to those who took another leading bowel prep.*,†

How to take PLENVU

PLENVU can be taken
2 different ways

PLENVU offers you the following
dosing options:

  • 1. Start and complete your bowel prep the same day as your colonoscopy (take your first dose when you wake up, wait 2 hours, then take the second dose)
  • 2. Start your bowel prep the evening before your colonoscopy and finish it the next morning (the day of your procedure)

The dosing option your doctor tells you to follow will depend on what time of day your colonoscopy is scheduled.

It is very important to follow the dosing instructions given to you by your doctor, including the exact time that you should take the first dose of PLENVU, as well as what time to stop drinking any further liquids prior to your colonoscopy. If you are not sure how or when to take PLENVU, contact your doctor before you start.
